As you can see, we have had a very busy and constructive time at Park Farm.  Despite the dreadful weather, we have managed to desilt the lake.  We had a delightful father and son team, who stayed on the Farm for a month and brought in a barge, which slowly moved round, sucking up the silt and shooting it into the bunds that James had built beside the water.  It is hard to believe that so much has been removed.

General maintenance has been carried out on the Main Polo Grounds.  The walls are being mended and capped and the tree surgeon has checked all the trees on the side of the road and edge of the grounds and given them a haircut.  He has also looked at the trees around the Lake.

Finally, James has had the enormous task of sorting out the pot holes, which as you can imagine, have been the worst we have ever had and with no way of getting on to the tracks with all the mud and rain, it has been the final job to be carried out, before the main body of fishermen and polo traffic starts again in the Spring.
